'My Forever Friend' - Charlie Landsborough.

"THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD" by W. H. HUNT, has fascinated me ever since I saw it 20 years ago in the chapel at Keble College, Oxford.Two years ago I saw the life-size version, which is hung in St. Paul's Cathedral, London. I was also deeply impressed. I"d like to share my enthusiasm with you. This allegorical painting represents the figure of Christ preparing to knock on a long-unopened door ( our mind). The door in the painting has no handle, and can therefore be opened only from the inside, representing "the obstinately shut mind". Let's open our minds and souls to Him.He is still knocking at the door of our hearts.
